Today was my job interview with the Director of Nursing at Affinity Surgery Center of Las Vegas. We Skyped and believe me when I say I did a TON of research on Skype interviews beforehand. The lady, her name is Joanne, was very nice and bubbly. She likes to chat so we got along just fine. By the end of the interview she told me that she hoped I would take the job and I said that I definitely would. She'll put me in charge of pre-op and then have me cross-train in PACU eventually! I'm excited about that possibility. They also want me to be down there as soon as possible. So we're looking at moving in the end of May! I've never moved and have no clue what I'm doing but I figure the more stuff I throw away the better so that's what I've been doing today. haha I don't know what to expect when we move down there but I do know that it is the right thing to do. Way back in January I prayed about it and got the feeling that we needed to move to Vegas and Reed reported that he had the same feeling. So, we will charge forward into the wild desert knowing that we are doing the right thing. Eeek!
