In early February of 2012 (this year), Reed and I set our sister Leesa up on a double date with a really nice guy named Mike that we knew from the singles branch. We all made pizza together, watched YouTube videos of BYU Divine Comedy, and talked. The whole date lasted for like six hours and then....Mike asked Leesa out for the next day!!!! Well, one thing led to another and below this paragraph you can see the result.
Leesa and Mike got married this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She looked so beautiful and he was very handsome. This was my first time watching a sibling of mine get sealed and it was the best experience ever. I bawled like a baby through the whole thing. Well, okay, except for the part where the sealer mentioned that his daughter is as old as Vanna White. That was hilarious!

A few other highlights from the day: the Vanna White comment (see above), Reed and I transported 70 Meconi's sandwiches from Oly to Portland for the lunch, gigantic root beer floats, seeing my friend from Banks Oregon, Rebekah's sky high heels, Kandace's flip flops, Adrienne's lightsaber story, the Plymouth Prowler Roadster (picture coming soon) we drove next to for a few miles, the tissue box kept falling apart in the sealing room, the cleaners rappelling off the Angel Moroni, etc. All in all, it was a perfect day for Leesa and Mike. We are so happy for them!
